Hello everyone! Its that time of year again, when the holiday spirit is on the rampage.

In addition to getting my "How To" stuff up, since I did have some folks interested in that, I might do somethings for the holidays. Like surprise holiday themed gift pictures! Those should be fun.

Aside from all that, I have started thinking on something. I know that a lot of artists here on DA have their own personal series that they have thought up and created all on their own. And for the longest time now, I've been trying to think of something to do. Well, recently I have been inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Alice Thru the Looking Glass ever since I watched a two part special on SyFy called Alice that is the modern version/combination of the two. And I have come up with a really fascinating idea. I would like to do my own sort of weird version of the two stories but it won't be with Sonic characters (sorry to disappoint guys). It'll be modern in a way but kind of mystical and cool in my opinion. I might have more about this later but it was a really neat idea that popped into my head and I really want to try and develop the characters and draw them out and try and get started on this as soon as I can.

I'm so stinkin bored.

But I have a thing or two to keep me busy. Like i've got two Halloween themed pictures that I'm working on and the last few pages of 'The Cave' to upload (I'm just being lazy). And that's pretty much it. i might to another piece of my Gaia Online avatar...she looks so much different now. I also need to finish typing up Kaito's B-Day story (good lord I've been such a lazy bum on this one!)

Anyways, bug me if you want me to draw something for you, i might come up with some lame contest idea, maybe I'll try doing an art trade with someone. Endless Possibilities....

Well, summer break is coming to an end where I am (bummer!) but that's fine by me. Although, I'm a little disappointed that i didn't get around to doing much (I haven't finished posting Kaito's b-day story since i'm such a lazy @$$) but i've gotten better about these things so i will get to do them eventually.I usually do.

I'm also hoping to help out my friend and her friend , who are currently working on a comic together. I think they're going to do a great job on it.

I got some new inking pens that rock my world! They are Faber-Castell, four in the pack I bought with pen tips ranging from super thin (SX) for details to fairly fat (M) for bold lines. these things are awesome, I've inked like three pieces with them and hope to get them up soon.

Finally! It's summer break. And I have more time to do artwork for both other people and myself. Ahhh, freedom. Gotta love the stuff. Any who, really hope to do some fan art and traditional stuff for the masses to enjoy.

UPDATE 6/25: Michael jackson died of a heart attack today. i feel pretty bad. He was a pretty darn good singer, the King of Pop he sure as hell was. We'll miss him for sure. I'd post a tribute picture...but I'm too lazy. MJ...we'll always remember you in the songs that you have sung.

In other news, more on the less depressing side of things, I plan on resurrecting the series i barely even started but never even got anywhere near finishing. That would be "The Hand of Sorrow". It was originally a series of three pictures, really crappy art style, somewhere in the back pages of my gallery... So recently, I redesigned the characters, and renamed one, and I have come up with a story plot that's a pretty darn good one in my opinion. What I'm going to do is do images with text rather than do comic pages because comic pages are a royal pain in my @$$. The pictures will be fairly detailed, I hope, so that the story won't be boring.

Also, i'm going to do a mini series with Lucifer and Keyian and another mini series with the seasons (aka Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall) as hedgehog characters. Ranger, one of my older characters is going to get a redesign, is the hedgehog of Fall...he's been around for a while. I'm working on the design for Summer. Hurr hurr, then on to Spring and Winter.
